Trump's Granddaughter Gets Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance
This young athlete boasts impressive online audience
The young golfer can count on numerous prominent cheerleaders when she starts her professional golf debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is connected to a former US president, obtained a special exemption to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, owns several golf courses and frequently competes against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she revealed.
She mentioned that Trump, unable to come, counseled her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa practically suggested to compete and relax," she added.
"In my eyes, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, Kai has participated in only three events in 2024 and maintains ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
But she can receive tips from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He is the top athlete worldwide," Kai expressed.
"Furthermore, he's a more impressive human being. He told me to play, enjoy myself, adapting to whatever happens."
Kai will face some of most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Tournament organizers stated that her participation exposes golf to different demographics, especially with youth audiences.
The young star maintains millions of followers and just introduced her own apparel and wellness company.
The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
